Last weekend we finally took Isabel to Chicago to see her Grandpa. Thank goodness it's a short flight; that little girl does not like sitting still! We had a great time visiting Dad and Pam. We got to eat at new restaurants (hey, we never eat out anymore so that's a big deal for us!), visited the Lincoln Park Zoo several times, played at various parks, went to the Shedd Aquarium, and I even got to go SHOPPING. We had Dad's place to ourselves at night, so it was as if we were test-driving what it would be like to live in a big city instead of out in the 'burbs. It was so convenient to be able to walk to grocery stores, restaurants, and the zoo!
