Happy Birthday, Zak!

Our little dude is 1 today! I can't believe how quickly the last year has past. To mark the occasion, we celebrated a day early with a birthday party for Zak and make-up party for Isabel (a case of chicken pox caused her party to be postponed until now). We had:

• Two cakes: pink strawberry for Isa and chocolate for Zak. Zak chose to eat and wear his.


• More gifts than two kids can handle


• A fashion show put on by our little divas


• An impromptu dance-off started by none other than Zak

The house is a disaster now but it was worth it (although I haven't dared go to down to the basement yet, who knows what's waiting for me there!). Here are some highlights of the evening:

Winter Games

February has been a much better month for the Keepers, health-wise, but it's been very snowy outside. What's a housebound family to do? Well for starters, we give the baby a hair cut...

and just bundle up and play (or in Zak's case, gaze longingly out the window)!
